Pastor’s Journey
Grace and Mercy Holiness Church was founded in Worcester Massachusetts on February 3, 2022. A family seeking more knowledge in their journey with God. A simple dinner amongst two families on that date quickly grew into a Bible Study! The first formal Bible Study took place in a Comfort Inn, in Auburn, MA on February 8, 2022. The word of God was shared and explored and the Lord excitingly revealed Himself.
Others became interested in attending Bible Study. Because of this and a desire to have a space more conducive to a worship service, the search for a larger space was underway.
On March 4, 2022, Minister Vick was invited to speak at Living Waters Apostolic Church where the Lord delivered a mighty word through His messenger by the power of the Holy Ghost! During this service minister Vick was ordained and sealed by the Lord to be a pastor.
God’s undeniable sign of approval was when someone was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. Within a few weeks, the Lord divinely directed Pastor Vick to 91 Stafford St (Stafford means “ford by a landing place”. Ford in Old English is a term for “a shallow part of a river that can be easily crossed”.) This meaning has significance to us regarding our present brick-and-mortar house of God because the plan was to have this space for at least 3 years. But God! But God, He had other plans!
God revealed this plan to Pastor Vick when after a revival service hosted by Spirit and Truth Apostolic Church, He encouraged us to believe for greater! This encouragement came through a prophecy by Pastor Gregory Pounds to seek a Congregational church to rent space. God’s plan went above and beyond all that we asked or thought. Water in the word can sometimes indicate troubles. But God had us at 91 Stafford St as that shallow part of the river that was easily crossed to the Emergency Room at 911 Main St in Worcester Massachusetts.
Jesus Christ used this historical site in the first year to fill two souls with the gift of the Holy Ghost. Another five souls during the same year were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to have their sins washed away. Psalms 127:1 reads: “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it; except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
THE BIBLE:
The Bible is the infallible (incapable of making mistakes or being wrong) word of God. 2 Timothy3:16-17 – 2 Peter 1:20-21
THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD TRUE AND LIVING GOD:
Jesus Christ robed Himself in flesh; He is both God and man. Deuteronomy 6:4 – John 1:1-4 – John 10:30 – Ephesians 4:6 – Colossians 2:9 – 1 Timothy 3:16. – 2 Timothy3:16-17 – 2 Peter 1:20-21 – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
JESUS WAS BORN DIED WAS BURIED ROSE AGAIN ASCENDED AND IS COMING BACK!
According to His Holy word. This is the Good News! WATER BAPTISM AND THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST IS NECESSARY:
You must be born again of the water by submersion and of the spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance John 3:1-5 – Acts 2:1-4 – Acts 2:37-38 Acts 10:3-5; – v24 – v34 – v44-48
SANCTIFICATION:
Sanctification means: the action of being freed from sin or purified John 17:17 – 1 Corinthians 1:30 – 1 Corinthians 6:11 – Hebrews 10:9-10
MARRIAGE IS CREATED AND ORDAINED BY GOD AND IS A LIFELONG COMMITMENT BETWEEN A MALE AND FEMALE:
Genesis 1:27 – Genesis 2:24 – Mark 10:6-9 – Colossians 3:18-19.
PRAYER AND FASTING:
“And he said unto them, this kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting” Mark 9:29
