Introduction
Hebrews 4:16 reads, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” This scripture inspired Pastor Corey Vick to embark upon a level of ministry intentionally given to him by God. An experience new and unlike any other he had previously in life!
How It Began
It all began with the Perez family, who were seeking more truth and more knowledge in their journey with God. A dinner amongst two families on February 3, 2022, quickly grew into a Bible Study! The first Bible Study took place in a small conference room in Comfort Inn, in Auburn, MA on February 8, 2022. The Word was shared and explored and the Lord was excitingly revealing Himself. With others becoming interested in attending Bible Study and a desire to have a space more conducive for a worship service; the search for a larger space was well underway.
On March 4, 2022, Pastor Vick was invited, to speak at Living Waters Apostolic Church where he delivered a mighty word under the influence of the Holy Ghost! It was during this service that the Lord sealed this newfound ministry with His undeniable approval when Sister Michelle Perez was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost!
Within just a few weeks, the Lord divinely directed Pastor Vick to 91 Stafford Street, Worcester, MA. We’d planned to rent that space for at least 3 years but God had other plans! We only worshipped at the edifice on 91 Stafford Street for about a month. Once again, God encouraged us to believe for bigger and greater as He prophesied through Pastor Gregory Pounds after a revival service hosted by Spirit and Truth Apostolic Church! God revealed a plan to visit a Congregational church to rent space, but the outcome was well beyond what was expected! Each detail and everything fell right into place just as spoken! Psalm 127:1 reads, “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
God called this ministry to do a mighty work for His kingdom and it was organized and established for the Glory of God. Throughout our first year the Lord has filled two souls with His precious Spirit and five souls have had their sins washed away! Our experience with God and his plan for us has been distinctive. Our foundation is set in holiness and sanctification, set apart for the boundless work the Lord has prepared for us. Psalm 118:23 says “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.”
Conclusion
We know the Lord will continue to save, heal, revive, deliver, and restore as we continue to yield ourselves to Him. Our prayer is that we can continue to cultivate a loving, familial atmosphere where people feel included and desire to live a life that is committed to God. Just as it says in Philippians1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
